Jenn's Favorite....

After getting some wonderful feedback, recommendations and great advice, I have decided to open the page to those who have something to share.
Jenn Carpenter- an ex professional dancer from Toronto, Ontario and a good friend of mine picked up and left it all behind to start a new living with the talented rocker Donald Carpenter of Eye Empire. They moved to Florida where she now spends her days raising their two beautiful boys the natural way.  Jenn has a passion for exploring organic living and practicing her Eco friendly habits day to day.  Always offering up fabulous recommendations-I have asked her to share her favorite, organic, product with us.......


The wonderful world of Dr. Bronner

Dr. Bronner products have got to be my ALL time favorite!  With ingredients made from natural, organic oils and scents of eucalyptus, peppermint, coconut, jojoba, hemp, olive, lavender and tea tree...you just can’t go wrong! Products range from lotions, body balms, hair conditioners, bar/liquid soaps and even health snacks!  These products are great for all skin types of all ages. They also carry a special line for Baby with very mild combinations of unfragranced oils.
If you pick up a bottle just keep in mind when reading the ingredient list; companies tend to use the scientific words for natural elements
It's important to know what these big, unfamiliar words mean (just because you can’t pronounce it, doesn't always mean it’s unnatural) with the internet a fingertip away, it's so easy nowadays to look something up. Educate yourself and those you care about- They will thank you later!

But, if I were to pick just one, Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps remain at the top of my list. Just a drop goes a looooong way!  A couple of drops in the palm of your hands is all you need to create a luxuriously, soft lather, that also can be used as a shaving cream…..BONUS! These liquid soaps can actually be used to clean anything and everything! 18 uses in 1 bottle! I mean, seriously? All you need is a one gallon jug and your set for life…okay maybe not life but 6 months for sure!…..go ahead, wash your floors, bathrooms, kitchen, and don’t forget your body and hair too.

Natural cleaners such as these will ease your mind, especially if you have children around. A clean home  and body without the harsh chemicals is something that is extremely important to me and should be to you too. We shouldn't compromise our health and succumb to these commercially, over-done advertisements that promote products with so many ingredients that we should not be rubbing into our skin or our babies skin....we definitely should not be paying money to poison ourselves and our families. Take control of your health.
